As an Interventional Radiology Charge & Coding Specialist you will be responsible for applying the appropriate diagnostic and procedural codes to individual patient health information for data retrieval, analysis and claims processing. Our Vascular staff specializes in diagnosing and providing treatments for routine and complex arterial and venous disease, and many other interventional radiology procedures. Flexible work arrangements are available for this position.

In your role as a Charge & Coding Specialist, you will apply codes for procedures such as: Non-healing Wound treatment, Amputation Prevention, Varicocele treatment, Uterine Fibroid Embolization, Pelvic Congestive Syndrome, Chest ports, PICC line placement, Placement & maintenance of feeding tubes, Dialysis Catheter Placement and Removal, Arteriovenous Fistula & Graft Creation, Vein Mapping, and Angioplasty, Stenting, and Fistula Salvage. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include:
• Translates diagnostic and procedural phrases utilized by healthcare providers into coded form
• Performs accurate ICD-10, CPT & HCPCS coding for all clinics
• Gives price quotes to patients and referring physicians when requested
• Ensures that charges are accurately posted to patient accounts in a timely manner

Required:
• CPC or RCC Coding certification & 1+yrs radiology coding experience
• High school diploma or equivalent

Strongly preferred:
• Vascular IR and E&M coding experience, including a CIRCC certification
