Can a pt elect to choose paying an office visit each time she's seen by an ortho vs 25605 for 1x time fx care? Is there something in writing on that somewhere also? Thank you
 
The 25605 is a CPT code that includes manipulation. The Itemized Method (E&M for each visit) of billing fracture care applies only when there is non-surgical Fx care - no manipulation of the bone.

Here is a really good article by Mary LeGrand who educated the physician members at AAOS that may help with your situation, please understand that they are talking about non-manipulative services when they are talking about closed Fx care in the article.
