I billed Amerigroup for G0180 and it was denied. I just noticed that the wrong primary dx code and only code was billed. The time to appeal has passed. I want to bill for the recertification with G0179. Can I bill for G0179 even when the initial certification (G0180) was denied? Will the insurance pay for the G0179 without paying for the G0180?
