Can someone assist with the code G0180-G0182, I have a physician that does the care plans for home health & hospice patients...Some of these patients are in a skilled facility, rehab and some are home. It tell me that Medicare does not cover CPO services for nursing facility or skilled nursing facility. Has anyone had experince with these?
 
That is correct, according to MCare, CPO patients receive complex healthcare that requires a physician to be involved on an ongoing basis, therefore it is not covered for patients in a SNF or other nursing facilities. Only on hospice and home health.
