At the sleep facility I work at we provide the patient with the home sleep study unit and the instructions on how to use the equipment. We send the results of the home sleep study to the pulmonologist for interpretation. Can you please instruct me on the correct way to bill for HCPCS code G0399. Do I bill G0399 with a TC modifier for the technical portion only? Does the pulmonologist bill for G0399 with the 26 modifier for the interpretation? Or do I bill for HCPCS code G0399 no modifier and the pulmonologist bill 95806-26. Thank you!
