We did a Medicare wellness visit G0438 the same day as a Dexa Scan 77080.
I added modifier 25 to the G0438 and it was denied. Is a modifier necessary with this combo G0438, 77080? If so, which one? (Nothing in the NCCI)Thanks
 
G0438 can not be billed with a 25 modifier. I am in New York state and if an AMW is billed with a 25 modifier it will deny every time.
