Hello,

G0444 is time based 5-15 minutes. If the PHQ2 is negative what are other offices doing to meet the 5-15 minutes? Just need to know if we are missing something.

Has anyone recently noticed/received denials with Humana for the G0444 being billed with G0439, and/or 99214, 93000? The denial reasoning is "invalid principal diagnosis" The dx code we have been using is Z13.31, unless they have a dx code of depression.

I am also receiving denials from Humana Medicare: G0444 w/Z13.31 and G0442 w/Z13.89 - stating invalid primary dx code. I am unable to find any changes nor CMS changes for ICD as well.

I am in MI and receiving denials from Humana for invalid primary dx, but I'm also receiving denials for G0444 from BCBS Medicare Plus Blue Procedure code incidental to primary procedure. G0439, 99213-25, G0444-59, G8510.

This just started like 1.5 weeks ago.
