Too weird that the last question answered had something to do with this random HCPCS code :)

Is it appropriate to bill G0463 for hospital billing when a patient presents to the IR Department and meets an RN, NP, or PA in a holding room, off to the side of the department, to have their dressings changed, or a g tube pulled, or a port site checked?

I was under impression that a holding room did not qualify as a hospital outpatient clinic visit per G0463's definition?

Would love to know what others think about this. Thank you.
