I just had a patient call and ask if we could resubmit her claim for an office visit and include that a diabetic foot exam was done. The patient did come in and asked the doctor to do the foot exam (it was noted in the dictation) along with her other chronic problems . If we do resubmit it using G9226 will Medicare reimburse us for this service or is it included in the office visit?
