A medicare pt receives the drug gamunex. The codes used are V42.0 and 996.81, complications of a transplanted kidney. Both codes have hit the edits as not payable codes.
Can anyone provide a similiar code that is payable? Also why would those codes not be correct with gamunex? Much appreciate your thoughts.
