Wiki Gastroschisis and Ileus

Any thoughts on coding ileus after a neonate had gastroschisis repair?
Would you choose transitory, newborn for the ileus 777.4 or postoperative 997.49 + 560.1? Do you drop the gastroschisis and just use code the ileus? Or code all 3 - transitory newborn ileus, gastroschisis (congenital) 756.73, and postoperative V45.89?

I'd stick with coding the 997.49 and 560.1. I probably wouldn't code the additional post-operative V code as that seems a little redundant as you've already identified the post-op status by using the 997.49. The gastroschisis was treated and "removed" with the surgery so may not be necessary to use that code either.
