I am having a very hard time finding the guidelines for using the GC modifier with Medicaid patients. I was told Medicaid does not accept the GC modifier. We have a new auditor that disagrees. I need to have proof. Of course, I cannot find proof now that I need it. Can anyone lead me to how to find written info on this? thanks.
P.S. I did ask this previously and have no idea how to find the post. can anyone tell me how to find my previous post?
 
Which State do you bill in? We are in California and Medi-Cal (Medicaid) does allow for the GC modifier but not the GE modifier.
