I agree this is HORRIBLE matter but all providers afraid of losing funds. My thing is orient the new person or CPC-A on protocols for the information needing coding expertise. Guide them since a new staff member.
i suggest just work for doc office as registration and maybe let you code one or two records. Also check with working insurance companies as claim examiners..they need help and pay is decent. Also do the AAPC networking or going to their chapter meetings.
