Not sure if I've coded this correctly. This is the first time I'm working for an Independent Lab, so I need some insight. This is the scenario:
1)undissected products of conception are rec'd 2)tissue sample is processed mechanically with the purpose of separating chorionic villi from maternal tissue. 3)a kit is used to extract DNA from the chorionic villi 4)extracted DNA is labeled(Dye into DNA)then denatured(heated) 5)DNA is transferred to an array and processed 6)Array slides are washed,scanned and analyzed 7)To determine maternal contamination a maternal blood and buccal cell sample is also processed if the unknown POC sample is dx as 46.XX 8)DNA is extracted from the blood/buccal cells with a kit 9)The MC DNA is amplified 10)A simple DNA fingerprinting kit is used to compare the CV DNA to the maternal DNA sample. The codes I came up with are: 88386-TC, 83900, 83901, 83909, 83912, 83891, 88233. Is this correct?
