My PM doc is asking about guidelines re: doing geniculate blocks first the Neurotomy? She heard that you can just go straight to the Nuerotomy. I cant seem to find any info on this.

Is this a clinical question as to whether or not your provider should do geniculate blocks or a Neurotomy? Or are you looking for coding advice on these procedures?

Yes a clinical question. She heard that you can go straight into the neurotomy without doing the geniculate block first.

I am sorry but from what you are describing I don't think that your PM provider should be asking clinical advise like that from Coding staff.
