Stumped between 40800's vs 41800's for the excisional biopsy
PRE-OP DIAGNOSIS: Non-restorable #21, Biopsy gingiva #21 white lesion
POST-OP DIAGNOSIS: same
OPERATION: Extraction #21 and bone graft for future implant , biopsy gingiva
#21 Routine extraction with a forceps. Excisional biopsy of white lesion located at left mandibular gingiva. Periosteal elevator was utilized to reflect the gingival and mucosal tissue. Creos cortical cancellous bone particulate in PRF was then packed into the defect site. PRF membrane was placed and the mucosa was approximated using 3-0 chromic.
