I have a patient who had surgery on 1/19/11 that has a 90day global peroid. Patient came in 1/24/11 for a surg follow and to review path report. My provider is wanting to bill a 99215 based from the path report that now shows micrometastasis. My thoughts are this visit is with in the global peroid and should be a 99024. Any thoughts?
