Hello,
1. If patient transfers care can you bill for a 59400?
As I understand you can't if a 59425 or 59426 have been billed by the previous provider, but what about if just two office visits were billed out with a V22.0 code?
2. Can you bill a 59400 if the patient has only come in for one or two visits prior to delivery but has not been seen by a ny provider throughout her pregnancy?
Please comment if you have the anser to these questions put if you could direct me to the information in writing that would be even better.
