Patient had an eye surgery done that has a 90 day global period. Patient then had a second procedure done on same eye 2 weeks later (modifier 58 was used since it was staged) but this second procedure only has a 10 day global period. Patient is about to have a third procedure done on the same eye after this 10 day global so I'm not sure if this procedure needs to have a modifier 58 added to it. Would the global period be over after only 10 days after the second procedure? Or would it still be 90 from the first surgery?
Thanks!

The 90-day global is still in effect; the subsequent procedures won't shorten it.
