If a surgeon performs a surgery on a patient with dx hematuria, the patient comes in to the emergency room after the surgery during the global period with dx hematuria. Can the hospitalist bill the treatment of the patient even though they are in the global period?

I work in an urgent care and we have multiple providers and 3 locations...if one provider codes for fracture care and the patient comes in another day and sees a different provider....they are not in a global with that new provider?

Global applies to providers not to the facility billing . So yes it applies to a new provider but not to the facility
