Does anyone know if the AAOS Global Service Data books are allowable books for the COSC exam?

I would contact the AAPC to be certain. I used the Coding Companion books for the test.

When I sat for the Pediatric Specialty Exam, they allowed one reference book of my choice. I chose the Pediatric Coding Companion. I did not think they would allow this because it contains MANY answers to Pediatric coding issue. They did allow it, because it was the coding reference I chose. I confirmed the use of the book beforehand via emailing the Proctor. If in doubt, ask the Proctor. By the way, due to time constraints, I never had the chance to use it.
