Wiki Global surgery packet ending??

I have read many bulletins on the end of the global surgery packet, whether 10, 30 or 90 days, and was wondering if there is any more news on when this may happen. Recently an number of Iplans, to include Medicare, have started to deny our physicians initial hospital visits with a 57 mod as part of the global package. I have appealed them all with notes and have most paid, but I am wondering if this is the beginning of the demise of global billing.
