How / What are you billing if the physician has provided care throughout the pregnancy, is in the hospital during labor but the baby comes just prior to the physician entering the room? The physician arrives in time to deliver the placenta.
I have been told that I can bill Global if my provider was in the hospital during the labor portion and just missed the delivery. I realize if my provider was not even in the hospital - different story. I would like other opinions and or references to how to bill this scenario. Thank you
