I bill for pathology services. We bill certain things globally and others split bill (26 & TC) seperately with different locations and places of service. Do I need to have my 26 & TC add exactly to the global amount? For example, my 88300-26 $12.00 88300-TC $40.00, but my 88300 global $70.00 - Is this a problem? Since I am billing one insurance co split, my total fee is $62.00 and then another insurance co global is $70.00. Can we get in trouble for this?
