I have a patient that was seen in the office on 02/03/10 for a r. axillary mass, an I&D was performed. On 02/06/10 the patient was hospitalized for the r. axillary mass. My question is which modifier would I need to use since there is a global period on the I&D that was performed on 02/03/10.
