Is any practice currently billing Medicare for group setting visits that are set up for a MD to educate on ex. on diabetes or hypertension. Vitals obtained and individual encounter notes completed by a MD .

Can we bill face face E/M for example 99213 for group setting? AAFP documentation is not definitive and unable to locate a policy with Medicare directly.

This is what you would bill for Diabetes Education for Medicare Patients:
Diabetes Self-Management Training
(G0108) Individual 30 minutes
(G0109) Group 30 minutes
