New to cardio--how often can you bill for pacemaker checks either in person w/ dr or nurse or on the phone. Pgba is our medicare for south carolina---any help with links for info would be appreciated

Pacemaker checks

You can only bill one every 90 days for the remote checks. There is no limit on the "in person" checks, but it must be medically necessary - ie symptoms, etc. You can get these guidelines from Boston Scientific. They have a great chart.
