Patient comes in for a Pap smear after being on Tamoxifen for 5 years. This a medicare patient. Other than the removal of a couple of AK's, the pap was what she came in for. I am not sure what cpt code to use for the encounter. Since this is diagnostic would it be included in the E/M level. Which the provider put as a 99213. Can someone help me with this.
