Does an internal pelvic exam have to be included element to bill out a pediatric annual gyn exam? We are getting push back stating that it is a required component of the annual exam for a 16 year old patient? Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.
 
A Internal Pelvic exam is not recommended until the Child is sexually active or at a older age. I would do an appeal to that because it is not a required field for a pediatric patient.
