Hello,
I have a question for the HCC Coders out there. We are trying to determine the correct order for HCC coding. My co worker states she was taught that the reason for the visit should be the primary Dx (agreeable), but we are wondering if that is still the case when you are really trying to get all of the HCC codes on the claim? Do you still put the reason for the visit as primary? Any input is appreciated.
