Hello All,

My Urologist is looking to do Microwave Therapy. I am lost as to how to bill for the device. Can anyone help?

I am aware of the procedure code, CPT 53850.

Equipment and usual supplies for all surgical procedures are included in the RVU of the surgical procedure. Its accounted for in the practice expense portion of the RVU calculation (~50 RVU office vs 6 when done in a hospital using facilities equipment)
