Just curious.......
When drawing lab for the Health Fairs is it a practice to NOT put it in the patient's chart and doesn't a primary care physician need to be on the order? Where I worked a physician name and signature was on the order and we placed the results in the patient's permanent record.
BUT
I have started at a new facility and there is no physician name or signature on the order and the results are not placed in the patient's chart.
Need some advice on this before I present to the Leadership team as I feel there should be a physician on the order(Chief of Physicians) and it should be placed in the patient's permanent record.
Thank you in advance.................
