We are questioning one code versus another for a hearing aid. The type of hearing aid is "Lyric" which is completely in the canal (CIC) but they are disposable. There are two codes for monaural we can choose from with no defined allowable per code. The first code is V5254 Hearing Aid, digital monaural CIC or V5262 Hearing Aid, disposable, any type, monaural. Does anyone have insight into which code would be appropriate?
