I am having trouble figuring out the appropriate CPT code to use for an OAE (otoacoustic emissions) screening test for newborns. Any suggestions? :confused:
 
If you check the November aap coding newsletter it talks about this test and the cpt code changes that go along with it. 92558 92587 92588 hope this helps. :)
 
are these codes only for newborns? We use an OAE machine for 5 year olds to get into preschool as it is mandated that they have a hearing test. What code would i use for this?
