Does anyone know the CPT code for a hearing test for a 10 year old. I have been using 92587 but is being denied saying it's for infants. I do not see an age requirement attached to this code. Please help
 
It's hard to say unless we know exactly what type of hearing test you are providing. Is this a screening test, or a diagnostic test? What equipment (if any) is being used? Does the physician provide a report and interpretation? Are you doing this an an ENT office or primary care, because screening audiotometry testing in our PCP offices is reported with 92551, since they're not going to have the more sophisticated equipment.
