Wiki HEDIS/CMS 5 Star/HCC auditing

Hi,

I'm looking for additional training on HEDIS and CMS 5 star measures. Does anyone have any webinar/seminar information, websites, or other helpful information for obtaining training on HEDIS and CMS 5 star. I currently do a lot of HCC Auditing would like to build upon my existing HEDIS and CMS 5 star knowledge.

I'd appreciate any and all information on where I could learn more about HEDIS audits, HEDIS measures and CMS 5 star program.

http://www.ncqa.org/tabid/63/default.aspx Trainings are offered on the left side bar of this web page. Also, HEDIS measures change every year and you are required to be a nurse to perform the reviews, from what I understand. I also have HCC coding experience, but not HEDIS reviews.

HEDIS abstractor

When you get hired by a company or a health plan as permanent employee or by a recruiter for temp contracts as "HEDIS abstractor", the company trains you for HEDIS. Each company/health plan has their own way of reporting information abstracted based on HEDIS guidelines mandated by NCQA and it also largely depends on the HEDIS auditor assigned to them.
