Help! I have the following situation:
2 physicians, same practice, different specialties. Both physicians see a patient for the first time for an office visit, for different reasons. How would I code these?
 
If they are on file as two different specialties you should be able to bill both in the same day. They would both be new patients if they have not been seen face to face by these providers before or anyone else in the office of the same specialty or subspecialty.
