I work for a Family Practice/Internal Medicine office and the providers do screening pap smears -- is there a diagnosis or CPT code that they can use to track when a patient declines or defers the screening pap test? I searched through my books this morning but didn't find anything. Does anyone know of a code to use for this situation?-

I am not aware of any such code, but you could create a dummy code for your system to track these situations.
