Hi,
The surgeon I work for wants to perform a full-thickness third-degree burn excision. The first excision is for a left lateral calf 3x3 cm, and the second is for a right medial foot 4x10 cm. The codes from the burn section 16000 to 16036 do not describe a third-degree burn they are for partial-thickness burns. And the codes from the graft section 15002 to 15004 are for if a graft will be performed but he is not. So, I am not sure how to code it??

Then can't you use a full thickness debridement code? Unless he's doing an escharotomy where they just make a cut through the hard crusty surface but don't remove any tissue.
Honestly, I don't know how anyone who doesn't have an extensive medical background can even do coding!
