what level is this??
Patient is doing poorly. She is on IV Dilaudid for pain control. X-ray of the left shoulder showed evidence of metastasis. Progression of left rib metastasis. CT scan of the chest revealed progression of the cancer in the left lung as well as development of right lung metastasis. This this in detail with the patient's daughter about progression of the metastasis and poor prognosis. Patient should be considered terminally ill. Patient's daughter agreed for her DO NOT RESUSCITATE status. Also agreed for hospice evaluation. Consult case manager and hot of hospice. Hospice personal notified. Will follow thank you.
