I Passed my CPC exam already and have the CPC-A.
I spoke with someone on the phone from AAPC and he said something that confused me.

We spoke about removing my -A, I am aware that completing Practicode will remove 1 year requirement.
The questionable part that he told me if I went to BLACKBOARD and completed "2023 Physician Coding for Preparation (G-K)" that it would know off ANOTHER year.\
So by finishing that and Practicode I would completely remove my -A.

I started the "Preparation", but it feels like I am just going through my studies again.....it doesn't feel like this would be true.

PLEASE ADVISE

I could write a novel about this. I think the A has its good side and downside and this is the downside. You are basically going to go through your studies again with Practicode or you can get on the job experience, which can be tough but some places do hire people with an A. There are also other places like Code Coaching Organization that allow people to come on and get hours to remove their A and you help them prepare educational materials. The Practicode will be faster than the working history.
