primary repair of the left atrium using sutures, would be billed in addition to AVR & CABG

Whether you bill for it, depends on why you're repairing the atrium. I believe you would use code 33305 however, this is to report repairing traumatic wounds, not surgically created wounds.

If the atrium was injured while performing the AVR or CABG, I probably would not bill separately for repairing it.
