I bill for several Behavioral Health providers. One of my providers was seeing a client virtually (Telehealth) with Medicare of Massachusetts. We billed out his claims only to have some of them them paid, and then later retracted. It turns out he was admitted to a Skilled Nursing Facility. None of us were aware of this (the provider, nor any of our billers; we are all remote). By this point, she has "seen" him approximately 12 times with 12 claims being either retracted or outright denied. All of my research says that Behavioral Health providers can not bill for patients in Skilled Nursing Facilities under Medicare. But, before she dumps him as a client, I just want to see if there is any way around this with the Telehealth guidelines that anyone out there may be aware of.

Thank you in advance for any advice!
