I am new to ob/gyn I've been looking for a code for just a pelvic exam (not a smear). Is there a code for this or would I use unlisted prcedure code?

If it is Medicare use the G0101, if it is not Medicare use the appropriate code for the patients age with -52.

Like you said, it is a pelvic EXAM. If it's not Medicare, then there is no procedure code, it only adds to the E/M for the EXAM portion. Were there any cultures or a pap tray? If not, there wouldn't be any procedure codes for that specifically.
