Durring a parastomal hernia repair, my surgeon was trying to reverse the pts colostomy, she has had it for 10 years, the reversal was unsuccessful, and durring the attempt the Dr tore the anterior serosal aspect of the rectum. At this point he opened her up and repaired the tear. The only CPT codes I am finding are 45562 and 45563 pertaining to repair of rectal injury. However when I read the code description, these codes are referring to draining fluid, and dont seem to be what I am looking for. I would greatly appreciate any advice!! Thanks
