My surgeon did an Abdominoperineal Resection... He removed the anus,rectum and part of the sigmoid colon and created an ostomy. I am having problems finding a code for this. If anyone out there could help I would be most greatful.
 
Colleen - start in your book in the 45110 code range...........you should find the appropriate code in that range of codes.
