We are Internal Medicine and perform many PE/Annuals.
We have been billing Z12.4 for PAP (P3000) for non Medicare patients.
Many insurance companies pay for PAP with PE, but not all. Some insurance companies will pay for PAP only when billed alone, or with Office Visit.
We have been billing Z01.419 for Pelvic (G0101) but this code does not frequently reimburse because insurance companies view it as part of PE.
