I have a question for all of you. When a provider creates a visit note in your EHR, and submits the codes for the visits, do you:

Wait to submit the claim until the next day, giving the provider time to review and sign the note?

Submit the claim that day, before the provider signs his/her note?

Our EHR system works a little differently. I don't receive the charges until the provider has finished his coding and signed the note. Regardless, I always wait until the next day. This also allows time for the medical assistant to finish up her charting and bill for any injections/immunizations.
