I know its early but, I am having a problem with this scenario, it's not registering for me today. It's an admit, pt also has hypertension

Admitting DX:
1. 47 yo gentleman with acute exacerbation chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
2. Acute on chronic bronchitis with this gentleman being oxygen dependent.
3. Prior history of intubation.
4. H/O carbon dioxide gas retention requring biphasic positive airway pressure during last hospitalization.
