Should I use the new codes 23473 or23474 for a revision of a hemiarthroplasty of the shoulder to a total shoulder? Or should I use the code 23331 for removal of the hemi and code 23472 for placement of the total arthroplasty? I know the new code is for revision of a total but I am not sure if I should use it when a hemi in changed to a total? Thanks!
